I'd seen him closer to -10 or -11 in PA before.

But, those numbers are a disaster for Donny Dollhands, if they play out that way. If he loses NH, WI, MI, IA, NV, PA, AZ and OH, he's lost in a landslide.

Who makes his or her entire income from Farming.

Not if they are growing commodities.

The days of milking the cows, harvesting the eggs, feeding the pigs and then cultivating the grain has been gone for over 40 years.

Almost every big farm actually farming for their entire income is a corporation. Your crazy not to be. It protects your home and personal assets from creditors. When you hear on NPR about the guy farming 500 acres of beans, corn and maybe wheat in Iowa who is suffering, you are hearing a story about an incorporated farmer, same as the incorporated small business Wal-Mart was driving out of business in the 80’s. And many of them don’t just farm their land but lease more land than they own.

A modern tractor with all the necessary implements will set you back half a million or so. We’re talking industrial scale production. You are not competing with 80 acres. Hell, even 200 acres on the plains.

Farming is and always had been a business.

Top 1% of farms by size, meaning large corporate farms, got an average of $165,000 in Trump’s tariff bailout, while the bottom 50% got less than $5,000. Just another way to redistribute the wealth to those who need it least, but contribute the most to politicians and PACs.

I give up on this state. I'd much rather put effort in NC and GA than Florida. Between Republican domination of their government, voter suppression, and voting shenanigans, we shouldn't put any hope in this state in 2020. I don't care what polls show, it's just too untrustworthy.

I don't think it's just the Florida Republican Party machinery and the Republicans' control of the Florida state legislature. The 2016 election saw that wave of gullibles come out of the retirement villages to hand the Sunshine State's electoral votes to Donald Trump. I expect them to do that all over again next year.

Texas might be in play next year, even if the mass shooters behave themselves and the Far Right dials back its Mexican-bashing.

Another incident like El Paso, though, and I suspect that even the relatively passive Latinos of Texas might decide that they've had enough of "Pinchy Cool Arrow" Donald Trump.

He even ordered the polls to stay open longer to allow for everyone to vote. There are cretins in charge down there now. It's so funny how polls always show Dems winning, but Republicans always win by the narrowest of margins. Funny how that happens?

But Obama won in 12 as well.

I’m not saying Florida is a lock by any means. But responding to a post that said Texas gives us a better chance, which I consider just wrong headed.

When was the last time Texas elected a Democrat to state wide office? Ann Richards? We did it last year.

Hundreds of people hit the gun stores, citing the fact the killing was in Wal-Mart, targeting Hispanics, so they need to protect themselves on their own now.
Not too sure how a handgun is gonna work on the ak-47 type weapons tho, or how you can draw, aim and fire a handgun at a shooter while people all around you are running to escape....
did I mention knowing how to actually fire a handgun, accurately?

And who just elected a Democratic Agriculture Commissioner, one of the most powerful elected positions in our state.

And ran a good man and candidate for Governor who made a fatal error.

And he could have won. But during the primary, against a great Candidate Gwen Graham he was worried enough to invite Sanders here for a much publicized rally. And supported Medicare for All. Ironically he would have won the primary regardless.

But for the rest of the campaign had the socialist labeled pinned on him in ads and every opportunity. And he could not deny it. Sanders is a socialist. I live here. I saw it.

And all the BS about the republicans machine. They have run the state since 2000 yet Obama won twice.

Give up on us if you want, but we will help nominate a candidate that can and will win here.

In all those states, add 5% to Trump's total just for the Russian disinformation campaign sure to come. And probably another 5% (or more) in Republican-governed states for voter-suppression.

We'll need every vote come November. Every. Single. Vote.

Because of the usual turnout difference.

So of the listed states, as of this moment:

Forget about NC/GA/FL.

PA/OH/AZ: tossups.

Only MI/WI/IA/NV (and NH) are looking decent right now.

But anything could change by Nov 2020.
