He has a really good shot at taking the governorship. This is a great time to take the governors race especially ina state like MS for reapportionment

Although Cooper had something going for him that hood didnt. The candidate has to win a majority of the congressional districts in order to win statewide office. Of cooper was in MS he proba ly wouldnt have won.

How does still go on in 2019? It's beyond anti-democratic (small d). That rule would eliminate most Ds if that were here.
Of course, had the previous governor operated NC like he did Charlotte where I lived, he would still be governor. #HB2, #I-77 tolls, and #CLTairport takeover didn't help his cause. Which were all the things he opposed while the mayor.
