But let me tell ya.. The guy now gets it and hates the Republican Assholes as much as I do.. Yep I now embrace Joe S. .. Never thought I'd respect him in any manner to the end.. But I gotta tell you guys.. I'm gonna take anything I can get in these critical times. Joe S. has changed his tune big time.. Yep, he might be a phony pundit looking for his next paycheck.. But for now I embrace him.https://www.huffpost.com/entry/joe-scarborough-rips-dying-republican-party-in-blistering-op-ed_n_596c4d36e4b0d6341fea01a1

(3,678 posts)Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace... others. I could listen to it all day (as long as they stick to Trump :p). Their party was stolen by Trumpism and they are righteously pissed. :p

(9,291 posts)lots of free tv time, while laughing about the whole process. Another non journalist millionaire pretending he's gonna help us. He needs to apologize first, because I just can't pick up my families and move to Switzerland.
I get his mad guy routine, but he was bitching the day after our debates that were too left.
Yeah, we don't owe him a damn thing.
Give our Gaslit Nation podcast ladies his time spot. They wouldn't be that stupid from the get gol

(70,649 posts)they fueled him when he got going.
I was an antagonistic type fan when the show first started, detested those early Pat BUCHANAN days and plagiarist BARNICLE. Plus, Scabs was outrageously misogynistic, verbally and emotionally abused Mika Mouse. I still remember how he went for a month at a time verbally lambasting PELOSI the way he now does SHITLER. Now he says he loves PELOSI and Hillary. I noticed the sea change when the affair thing with Mika Mouse started to percolate and I knew something was up. I was really disgusted when they shucked their spouses and took it from there.
Anyway, I just don't trust them. I don't watch or background the whole thing. They re-run the first hour in the second hour slot. By then, after I've dozed, it's time to switch to the networks.
I don't know what to make of GEIST. He was the producer for Fucker CARLSON when CARLSON was on MSNBC. On the Scabs morning show GEIST is way out there joining in on the lambasting of SHITLER, then goes on Today and plays all neutral, fine. But he was palsy with CARLSON. So lots of switching around going around...

(14,906 posts)For like a minute. Now he's back to fellating Trumpists like there's no tomorrow. Saying "for now I embrace Glenn Beck" would have been a massive mistake, in hindsight, at that moment.

And it seems like he didn't get serious until Trump went after Mika's (alleged) face job. Republicans always have trouble feeling others' pain until it hits them, ofc.
But yes, he has been on-point in the past few days at least. There's hope for him yet... maybe. :p

(51,516 posts)Neither [Abraham] Lincoln, William Buckley nor Ronald Reagan would recognize this movement, he wrote.
I disagree. The GOP hasn't abandoned the "core values" it had under Reagan. Trump was the natural progression of Reaganism, with its nasty racist stereotyping, decimation of government, taking from the poor and giving to the rich. To me, the main difference is Reagan was a little smarter than Trump; Reagan knew how to be charming and presidential--he hired better speech writers and was way better at reading from a teleprompterthan Trump. But that's about it. The style was different, but not the substance.
But hey, we can always use allies, and for now, Joe Scar is an ally.

(6,280 posts)....and I welcome the fact that he spends 3 hours a day 5 days a week, reaching approximately 1 million people a day eviscerating Trump and his crime syndicate. He knows he made a big mistake in the past, and has been making up for it since not long after Trump was elected. He has done more to expose Trump and sway opinion than anyone on this website, and I find the very notion Scarborough has a hidden agenda and has not changed both ridiculous and small-minded. He has renounced the GOP and is no longer a republican. If there is anyone belonging to Democratic Underground who has done more to ensure Trump does not get a second term, I would like to meet him or her. He is a staunch ally, and I for one believe he has atoned for his past.

Remembering guest "conservative intellectual" George Will claiming all the Democratic candidates were every bit as horrible as Trump as he argued for a return to traditional conservatism, but not at the expense of today's Republicans losing control of government.

(6,280 posts).... must think the Reverend Al Sharpton, Claire Mccaskill, Eddie Gaude, Yamiche Alcindor Eugene Robinson, plus all the Democratic senators and Congress persons who appear on his show are fools, and bad judges of character. I personally believe these people are excellent and forgiving judges of character, and that is the reason they are appearing on Morning Joe. Why would they give the person described by Scarborough haters any time at all?

(653 posts)I don't trust NONE of these Republican bastards as far as I can throw them.
He's just as guilty as all of them.
They don't disagre w/his policies, just his tactics.
That's why Republicans 90% approve of Trump.
It's the POLICIES that are reprehensible.
I cannot stomach them.
I don't care what they say.
Unless, maybe, if they totally recant and change their views/policies, then, MAYBE.
