broken shoulder? Anything printed about how he is doing, not that I care. I haven't even heard the media refer to his "accident".
Being a newly-confirmed skeptic, my first thought was that he was using that as an excuse to stay out of the public
eye for the 6-week recess and didn't really break it.
With all the requests for MM to call the Senate back to pass gun regulation, surely he will stick his bod out the door so we can see how incapacitated he truly is. Having shattered mine, I know how much it hurts. The least he could do is let us see him suffering. (Just kidding.)

(16,254 posts)I ended up with 4 breaks/shatters and still can't totally use it. I don't remember smiling very much. <grin> It also took a very long time to heal. We'll see how quickly he is back to work without a sling.

Must have been a really good break if he didnt need surgery.

(16,254 posts)I stand with a good excuse to stay out of the public while off for recess.

(9,657 posts)the shoulder joints are one of the most under appreciated parts of the body. Knees and hips seem to get all the attention. An injury can happen quickly and recuperation can take forever, while putting a big crimp on things you can do.
If McConnell really did "fracture" something, I'd expect him to be out of commission for a while. Sadly, out of commission or not, once the Senate is back in session we would likely see little difference.

(16,254 posts)It took me several months, plus a ton of therapy to finally be able to use it.
I'll be watching for his return.
