Out of curiosity, have I missed a photo of Moscow Mitch with his sling for the

broken shoulder? Anything printed about how he is doing, not that I care. I haven't even heard the media refer to his "accident".

Being a newly-confirmed skeptic, my first thought was that he was using that as an excuse to stay out of the public
eye for the 6-week recess and didn't really break it.

With all the requests for MM to call the Senate back to pass gun regulation, surely he will stick his bod out the door so we can see how incapacitated he truly is. Having shattered mine, I know how much it hurts. The least he could do is let us see him suffering. (Just kidding.)

Sounds like we had a similar experience. Had to have a bone graft, surgery, awful time. cwydro Aug 2019 #6

Well, a six-week recess won't cover recuperation. Frustratedlady Aug 2019 #11

Until I see him in a sling or shown a note from the doctor as to why he can’t go to work, I do not believe him. 😁

Hell, there's tons of it in Kentucky, right?

I ended up with 4 breaks/shatters and still can't totally use it. I don't remember smiling very much. <grin> It also took a very long time to heal. We'll see how quickly he is back to work without a sling.

I don’t have full use either.

Must have been a really good break if he didn’t need surgery.

I stand with a good excuse to stay out of the public while off for recess.

the shoulder joints are one of the most under appreciated parts of the body. Knees and hips seem to get all the attention. An injury can happen quickly and recuperation can take forever, while putting a big crimp on things you can do.

If McConnell really did "fracture" something, I'd expect him to be out of commission for a while. Sadly, out of commission or not, once the Senate is back in session we would likely see little difference.

It took me several months, plus a ton of therapy to finally be able to use it.

I'll be watching for his return.
