As @murraywaas
reported in June on Trumps previously unseen letter disclosing his real reasons for firing Comey: Trump was saying in the draft letter that he wanted to fire Comey for not firing McCabe. Full report here: (link: https://www.nybooks.com/daily/2019/06/26/timeline-of-deceit-from-trumps-draft-to-rosensteins-cover-story/) nybooks.com/daily/2019/06/
In another previously unreported portion of the letter, the president also bitterly complained about the continual involvement by then FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe in overseeing the investigationand criticized Comey for not removing him. The president protested that McCabe was biased against him and pointed out that McCabes wife, Jill, had run as a candidate for the Virginia State Senate as a Democrat. At a series of rallies in the fall of 2017, Trump repeatedly attacked McCabe, claiming without evidence that the fix was in because of McCabes supervision of the case. In effect, Trump was saying in the draft letter that he wanted to fire Comey for not firing McCabe. If Trumps intent in the removal of either was to affect the outcome of the investigation, one or both cases might constitute an obstruction of justice. For reasons that are unclear, the Mueller Report makes no mention of Trumps complaining about McCabe in the draft letter.

(22,023 posts)Throughout his entire life, Trump has been involved in lawsuits, both as a plaintiff and as a defendant. During the 2016 presidential campaign, it was estimated that Trump had been involved in roughly 3,500 lawsuits! Consider some simple arithmetic: Trump was about 70 when he began his campaign and like most people, he began his career when he was about 25. Accordingly, on average, he had 77.8 lawsuits EVERY YEAR OF HIS LIFE! I'm 61 and I've had one personal lawsuit and two professional cases, (in all three suits, I prevailed).
Since he was inaugurated, I would guess that he has continued the trend.
There is something profoundly wrong about someone who has that many legal problems.
Bring on the discovery. Perhaps some of the Trump supporters will finally understand how they've been had.
However, I'm not holding my breath.
