A hospital official confirms to CNN that this is the baby who was brought back to the hospital to meet with Trump and FLOTUS after the child had been discharged. The two month old’s parents, Jordan and Andre Anchondo died protecting him during the El Paso shooting.

This is so bizarre, it is beyond my comprehension. It has been reported that the father of the child also was an avid supporter of Trump. It is really ironic if not sick. It is like a case of unintended consequences in which they are treating the baby like a macabre trophy.

a co-worker (married to Latino) warned me several years back not to make any rosy assumptions. In his words, "Lot of my in-law relatives are a far cry from liberal, or even moderates, either socially or economically. And a surprising number of them are unabashed anti-immigrant. This is child abuse. When the 8 El Paso victims refused to meet with their perpetrator, Trump ordered a newly orphaned baby back for this 👍🏼 photo op. This baby just lost both parents in the horrific massacre unleashed in the name of Donald J. Trump, who couldn’t be happier.
