he may have very well been suicidal and was supposedly on a suicide watch at one point.......... so anyone who wanted him dead would only need to get the watch removed and get the materials in place for him to hang himself to essentially murder him.

If it is true he was found dead in jail cell, why isn't his face swollen and purple as is the case of asphyxiation?

and why are his hands clenched, while one forearm is vertical, and outside the rail of the stretcher?
It should be limp, and the hands open and limp.

1. Committ suicide?
2. Get killed by fellow prisoner?
3. Get killed by a prison guard?
4. Get killed by Putin or another hostile foreign government?
5. Not really die and is now on an island off the coast of anywhere-but-here?
6. Not really die and has been moved to a totally different type of imprisoned situation, being tortured to get info about whomever or whatever?

Those are the six that popped into my head this morning. I don't think it will be anything on this list. If Ian Fleming was still alive, he might have the imagination for something that is truly stranger than fiction.

I thought immediately of a "deadman's switch"

The kind of thing we have seen in movies where if you let go of button/lever/etc
something explodes. It's what the DC Madame apparently did not have, all she could did was to announce publicly that she would never commit suicide, then was found hanging in her tool shed.

So Epstein had that black book.
and faced a serious trial.
from all accounts he was not stupid, but a lot of powerful people were worried, esp. when the DA found that safe full of dvds, and rumors he had been taping those "massage rooms".

If they had been told he had a switch..a way of publicly releasing his information, maybe it would make more sense to fake the whole suicide bit, esp. after it was known the Judge was gonna release the details of evidence from the first trial.
there was some question of the first attempt, how serious it was or wasn't, but as a set up to a 2nd attempt it worked.
Maybe a body switch worked, certainly not implausible.

I am waiting to hear if the CCTV tape that Pareet Bahara was wondering about actually was working.
Would not be surprised to hear it "malfunctioned" as so very very many recorders of police behavior have been known to do.
also still waiting to hear definitely if he was or was not on suicide watch, and how he managed to hang himself with ....what????

There are so many books gonna be written about these last 5 years...this is a great story no matter how it turns out.
