AFAIK, this matter (a person in DOJ custody dying during a DOJ investigation/prosecution) falls under the Judiciary Committee's purview. She's not on it.

She *is* on Oversight, and also Oversight's Civil Rights Sub Com. Maybe there is a relevant angle there (whether or not people in US federal custody are harmed, even by themselves, whilst in custody has Oversight and a Civil Rights angles). But even then, she's not the top ranked member of the committee nor subcommittee.

Regardless, babbling about Rep. Ocasio-Cortez, or any generic progressive, running some amorphous undefined investigation is attention-seeking twaddle. Congress has rules, procedures, structures, laws and constitutional authorities. If you cannot articulate how your proposed course of action fits into that, then you're just talking nonsense.
