that OUR lands should be accessible to ALL, all of the time, but these free days are a beginning... also, a Senior Pass (62 and older) is only $10. and good for life (for the senior and all passengers in car)!
however, the National Parks are one place I never feel bad about paying a fee to enter or utilize (not that I do that too much). I also try to buy something in the gift shops to add to their bottom line a bit (and add to my collection of coffee mugs when possible).
