(2,809 posts)When one of the dog owners there pointed out a bearded man shuffling through the park and asked if I knew who that was. I didn't know, and I was shocked to hear him say that was Robin Williams.
A few days later he took his own life. I wish I could have intervened somehow.
I have lost nearly all of my older family members to Alzheimer's and other dementia producing illnesses.
This current political and massive wealth inequality days of millions sleeping on sidewalks and freeway bridges
sometimes feels like it's driving me right over the brink of madness.
I cannot count the times seeing Robin play in some uplifting role that made my day dealing with a nutzoid family member just a bit better.
This world could use a lot more people who give of themselves, spread joy even in their dark days.
And could use to lose many of the greedy folks who have made millions suffer miserably.
