Now that is interesting...if, and I say if, the CTs are correct and his departure was helped along by some who wanted to stop the investigation, they've just put their own neck in the noose, so to speak.

6. This is one reason I think it's likely he did it himself.

I can't think of any way his death helps others who were involved in this criminal activity. If anything, his death now heightens scrutiny of others' behavior.

The prosecutors and victims are out for blood now, and nobody will blame them.

I want to see them all brought up on charges: Ghislaine Maxwell, the pilots, the executive assistants, the facility managers - all the people who aided and abetted Epstein's kidnapping, rape, and torture of children.

I believe he was allowed to do this when he should not have been. I haven't the slightest clue who really let it happen. If there was an order from the top down to the warden or not. We'll never know for sure.

I believe he saw the gig was up. That this time around he was not going to get a light sentence with no real consequences to himself. Everyone knows what happens to child molesters in prison. I think he did it to avoid spending the rest of his life in jail.

I don't believe that Trump et al is relieved he's dead. It turned up the heat.

And now, apparently, nobody has standing to protest the stuff found with search warrants? This can't be good for Dershowitz and the others. Apparently Epstein kept photos and tapes, and now it can all come out.

5. Did someone inherit his property and assets?

Epstein has a brother, at least, and maybe other family members still living. How does the government think they have control of Epstein's property? It's still privately owned.

11. I think the issue is with the stuff taken already under the search warrant.

The brother might not have standing to fight the use of those materials in court, even if he might inherit them somehow, when the court is done using them in its cases.

He owned luxury properties in several states, plus his island in the Caribbean, and he owned a house in France (maybe elsewhere.) My point is that the government can't just walk in and help themselves.

15. They would need a search warrant. But the brother might not be in a legal position

to fight it - I don't know.

Also, there was a great deal of evidence already collected -- and they were expecting that Epstein would fight the validity of the search warrant in court. Now, apparently, that won't be happening.

They already had all the documents, evidence, etc.

I am afraid that the other residences have been "cleaned".

It seems to me a thoroughgoing investigation would have included all of his homes. IANAL. Is it normal to search just one domicile? Is it a matter of jurisdictional authority? Can they be included more easily now?

I'd like there to be massive amounts of evidence against these crimes.
