16. If you listen to the words of the speech

you can imagine Rubio speaking at the DNC. It's just a canned sermon you can use at any rally. Just replace Romney with Obama in the text. He hasn't said anything new or inspiring.

of coherence, minimally creepy, not blatantly stupid, not just instantly repulsive, and not obviously in the Old Boy's Club.

But

He is pretty boring. Not the molestery boring of Jindal or the old man boring of Dole, just a plain old non-descript dullness like Weird Willard. They wrote him a fair speech that we'll hear similar from at our convention but he hasn't much oratory talent.
