If you don't remember the 1992 VEEP debate, here's a reminder.
Unfortunately, Clint didn't begin with the self-effacing, "What am I doing here?"
That's why all my Democratic party friends universally loved James Stockdale, and why we DUers see Clint as nothing but a rabbling political hack, and not a very good one, even considering his ramble. Stockdale rambled, but we allowed him because he didn't take himself seriously.
That's the difference. With Eastwood's Stockdale endorsement, may Mitt suffer the same result as Perot.

That one was a mess. People were shocked by the extremism. Is this worse? Do you think we are we more used to the extremism?
