There were reportedly multiple bones broken in Jeffrey Epstein's neck, an autopsy found, including one called the hyoid, which sometimes breaks during strangulation in homicides.

According to The Washington Post, the office of New York City's Chief Medical Examiner Barbara Sampson completed an autopsy of Epstein's body Sunday, but listed the cause of death as pending.

Epstein, 66, was a wealthy, well-connected financier indicted on sex trafficking charges over the alleged abuse of multiple minors for several years. While awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, Epstein died in an apparent suicide by hanging on Saturday.

He had already been found in his cell two weeks previously barely conscious and with marks on his neck in what appeared to be a suicide attempt. He was placed on suicide watch for several days before being taken off, deemed no longer to be a threat to himself.


A New York Times report said the two guards responsible for checking on Epstein every 30 minutes on Saturday had fallen asleep for three hours and then falsified records to cover it up. It appears that during this window Epstein took his own life.

This is not exclusive of Banana Republics...but it does support many of the theories surrounding his death. I personally don't believe he committed suicide. Didn't someone try to kill him earlier and they also attributed it to "possible suicide attempt"? People like Epstein are too much in love with themselves, they are usually cowards who will not even think of suicide.

The hyoid would not break without significant force, ie being dropped from a height in a hanging or from strangulation by someone else’s hands. Self-hanging from a low height or leaning kneel would not likely cause this injury. It is suspicious.

epstien would have been told by his lawyers he was going to jail for life and might have gotten to play tennis if he squealed - but if he did squeal someone would eventually strangle him. so he had plenty to kill himself over.

on the other hand, if the message sent by those who arranged whitey bulger's murder wasn't enough, all the uncertainty on epstien will help keep others quiet.

Hyoids break with force. A low hang also is more like a suffocation than a typical hanging where force of falling and snatching into the ligature break smaller neck bones and strangle the victim.

There was a post on DU about a prisoner who “heard” Barr was at the prison prior to Epstein’s untimely demise, and that other prisoners were removed from the block during the encounter. Is there any media that would be inclined to check this out? It sounds like BS but is it worth investigating?
