They think it means they have the freedom to force their religious beliefs on society and the government cant say they can't.

The Catholic bishops and the politicians who love to pander to them want to make sure that the provision in the Affordable Care Act that provides contraceptive coverage without a copayment is jettisoned.
Never mind that some of the states already have similar laws, including states where the good bishops have their dioceses.
