(63,221 posts)Looking forward to watching, although I really wish he'd stop with the republican guests.
If I wanted to know what they thought I would turn into Fox News. I understand he likes to stir up controversy, but it just seems to take up valuable time when he has some right-wing clown on there who does nothing but disrupt the show and drowns out the other more interesting guests. I would rather hear more from them.
Sorry, don't want this to sound like I am coming down on you, just a complaint I have about the show, otherwise, I generally enjoy watching very much! Thanks again!

(205,202 posts)Bill seems to really like having those on his show. With the week we've had (is there any other kind of week, these days??), it should be a decent discussion!
BTW, I spent most of this week in Vermont with my oldest friends from my summer camp days. Of course, coming from Vermont, they feel the same way we do. But two of the most informed anti-Trumpers were our former canoeing counselor and his lovely wife - and they are from Quebec! Trump has incensed more than us Americans!

(63,221 posts)Carl Hulse, the republican strategist. Rick has some interesting and valid viewpoints and can be very funny at times. I actually don't mind him at all.
It's these rarely heard of, republican randos he has on, like Carl and the peach he had on Aug 2nd, Buck "F-ing" Sexton, who was completely useless. Not only did he spout egregious lies, but he wasted precious time by forcing the other guests to refute his BS. Those are the people I have a problem with. Who knows, maybe Carl won't be so bad. We'll see!

(205,202 posts)But I sure agree with you about Buck Sexton! He was really obnoxious and he would not shut up! I agree that I have no idea why Bill insists in having these guests, his audience sure doesn't appreciate them ("The Mooch" ). I guess he wants to have someone to argue with. I'll try to reserve judgment on this one... Thanks for the heads up!

(63,221 posts)That raised my hackles, however I looked him up and it seems like he might not be too bad. We'll see. It still looks like it's worth a watch.

(16,369 posts)Whenever the panel is in agreement with each other those shows invariably devolve into Democrats need to do this... shows which I find tiresome. I like the shows when the panels focus on fat Donnie.
