Obama Camp On Eastwood: ‘Referring All Questions On This To Salvador Dali’

Obama Camp On Eastwood: ‘Referring All Questions On This To Salvador Dali’

Reached by Politico for a response to Clint Eastwood's bizarre, offbeat speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday, Obama campaign press secretary Ben LaBolt declined to delve into specifics, but instead deferred to a late Spanish painter known for his surrealist work.

"Referring all questions on this to Salvador Dali," LaBolt told Politico via email.

Watch highlights from Eastwood's speech:

He was the one who hung a urinal on the wall and called it a fountain. The 'pigs topped him. They pulled a Jackass stunt and crapped in a toilet that wasn't hooked up to anything right out in the open for everyone to see.

it almost happened to me in Amsterdam after a 9 day art intensive winding up in the Van Gogh Museum standing in front of one of his wheat fields with crows...I had a quietly tearful melt down...

I do know that the Bruges Madonna had been hauled away by the German army shortly before one of the Allies Monument Men raced into the church...they were too late, but of course it was later recovered...what a story...

When I hit the arrow to have it play it seems to be on pause and loading, but hitting the arrows below or in the center of the screen, nothing happens.

That was in Safari, I'll try it in firefox. Same, doesn't play. The loading line at the bottom of the page says "waiting for events.realgravity.com..." then something about 'ping' then 'done' but it hasn't played.
