A word about families

Through this entire convention we've been inundated with family stories in an effort to humanize the speakers.

Every portrait painted was of a Mom-Dad-Kids family.

What about a Mom-Kids or Dad-Kids family?

Or a Mom-Mom-Kids family? Or a Dad-Dad-Kids family?

The crowd was all "awwwwww" at the stories, but cheered at the dog whistles endorsing opposition to those "other" families.

Fuck you, repubicans. Fuck every last sorry one of you.

Stating who was a "real couple" or whatever was the same thing. As you said, a dog whistle. "We don't like gay people! We hate single parents!"

women can only be stay-at-home-moms who have no ambition other than getting Billy & Susie out the door after a nutritious breakfast & putting a pot roast in the oven so that they can put on their high heels & pearls to vacuum.
