(2,343 posts)Using rhetoric like that can defend herself. Notwithstanding all the vile, disgusting discourse and actions Trump and his enablers subject the country to on a daily basis, good people should not even wonder aloud whether molestation and starvation of children might be a means for punishing their parents. But, that's just me.
Perusing her Twitter feed, this one seems to be an abberation. Deleting it would be advisable.

There. Again there's that mirror they should look into.
Some of us get it. Stop our mere words and spare their precious feelings?

(14,487 posts)I didn't save the text or screenshot, but it was basically turning the tables on the white supremacists - why not do to them and their kids what they have been doing to kids at the border - caging, molesting, etc. How would they feel if it were their kids, IOW.

(4,980 posts)Was annoyed and saddened, too, by the comments taking her tweet literally, then throwing their faux pearl-clutching outrage over to hatemongering trolls.
She ran for office in 2018, and had a successful career in radio. I'd say she deserves a Wikipedia page as much as Dan 'look at my truck' Patrick. Her page was deleted on July 15, 2019. Annnd, the page for the 36th district does not list election results for 2016 or 2018... No mention of her or the vote breakdown - which would be pondersome against the demographic makeup of the district.
I'd say the 36th needs some sunlight shone upon it, as I reckon voter suppression is rampant... Is an area historically notorious for hate crime.
Otherwise, I hope her family and friends circle her with loving support today... That was some awful shit to witness.
