Is MSNBC going thru some big shake-up?

I sense that they are in the process of making some big changes.

Maybe it is just giving time off to their regulars so they can enjoy the summer?

Maybe their ratings slip is causing them to change their recent liberal lean?

But, going back to Phil Donahue, and Keith Olbermann after him, they have not hesitated to throw their liberal voices overboard.

This may not be what's happening but don't be surprised.

I keep hoping they'll offer a time slot to Al Franken. Wouldn't he be awesome as a show host, or even a color analyst?

they will always add a Reaganite faux liberal like Joe Scarborough and a half dozen racist and neocon commentators like Pat Buchanan. They're a network that chases ratings like any other, and like all the others they have an agenda.

card has worn out its welcome. But I think Joe is a survivor. I haven't seen Pat B. in a long while and thought he was dead.

I really don't know what their agenda is. I just think they are opportunistic. Gotta make dough...

Congress is gone for their scheduled long break so the political activity slows to a crawl and there's not much news to report.

I really like her, but she and Brian Williams really blew it the day of the Mueller hearing, and after that she did some apologizing and she stopped laughing so much, and then started taking days off. She might just need a vacation.

ON EDIT: To me, the CNN personalities sound closer to "the edge" than the MSNBC people, but who knows?

Nicolle Wallace I think had jury duty the day she was off last week.

Rachel was suppose to be enjoying her vacation but apparently ended up on crutches.

head, slow zooming in and out; it is nauseating. Second, there are a lot of babies in the works or just born; time off for the new moms. If they get rid if anyone, I hope it is Andrea Mitchell, a true Hillary hater and rethuglicon. I like most of the NBC crew, but I think many people are really burning out about drumpf and his daily sh'tshow. It is sad and exhausting. The political process for electing a President of the USA is far to long and drawn out and people just get sick and tired of it.

Speculating about networks changing their lineups because the programming is unusual. The programming is unusual because everybody is on vacation.

Sept is setting up with the IG report, possibly something from Durham and/or Huber, and declassified shit. Plus, I see no prospects of us narrowing down to a handful of candidates so airtime is consumed with the lesser candidates. UGH! It may be January before I return to regular viewing.

Their designated hosts have become absentee landlords...who knows when the great married morning couple will ever show up. They've had several vacations plus a honeymoon this year and they still weren't there this past week except for maybe a few minutes of Joe. S. Ruhle is consistently missing and many of their other hosts haven't been around either. Nicole Wallace did mention she's been on jury duty and Rachel has slipped in the ratings perhaps due to many 3 day weekends. Hard to say, but the ratings are slipping.
