Support for Free Trade Reaches New High

https://politicalwire.com/2019/08/18/support-for-free-trade-reaches-new-high/

A new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll finds 64% of Americans say they support free trade with foreign countries.

That represents an all-time high in the NBC/WSJ survey on this question, and it’s a 7-point increase from the last time it was asked in 2017.

Trump's failed trade wars are making free trade popular again. As a globalist free trade advocate this makes me very happy.

the world a better place. Free exchange of goods and ideas makes us all richer.

That being said the US needs to have some recourse for folks whose jobs went away, something like retraining and even financial assistance in relocating to places with more jobs.
