Can't tell if he's any worse than he usually is. He does have some substance use issues in his past. It would be sad for him if that were the case. Better for him to resign than get back on that path he was on.

But you can tell he is a functional drunk. He makes his point, pretty much stays on topic and remembers names. Some drinkers stay quite coherent when they are drunk, which is a problem because no one ever thinks they are drunk. Which just gives them cover to stay drunk.

Trump may be considering another tax cut. It would be funded with the money collected under his tariff program. Probably would take the tariff money (paid by us) and return it to the rich. Truly a brilliant scheme that raises the taxes on the poor and middle-class to pay for a tax break for the rich.
