(12,041 posts)I knew the guy considered himself a Republican, but I also knew that he was fairly independent in his beliefs and quite often expressed beliefs outside the party orthodoxy. He is pro-choice, pro gay-rights and anti-war, he has never been a typical Republican. I was surprised when I heard he would speak at the convention as it did not seem like him at all, maybe you are right though and he played the role of supporter to sabotage the speech. If that is what happened then I rate this the best acting performance of his career, if he did not intend that well he still did a great job of sabotaging the convention so he made me smile. I can't wait to see the Daily Show tomorrow.
