I took a full day off from Con politics on the media today

Watched cricket, tennis and the food network - I've really had more than enough of his shit and their deference to this asshole is unbearable. I mean how can they continue to pretend that one rational, truthful or meaningful sentence will be uttered.

CNN/MSNBC damage the country in different ways than Fox— bothsidesism and amplifying conservative views for drama and ratings, vs pure propaganda designed by Ailes and the Murdochs.

Fox is evil, and the others are merely bad.

But the best thing to do is just not watch cable news.

on the weekends anymore. The weekend pundits are especially awful. Today I sat on the shores of Wild Horse Island in the middle of Flathead Lake. My guys were out fishing the big water and the waves were a little much for me. I was happy to comb the shores for driftwood and heart rocks and sink my toes into the deep moss that grows on the north side of the island. I saw eagles, mule deer, big horned sheep and a Pygmy nuthatch. It was all perfect.

I’m sure MF45 will do something quite awful tomorrow. Count on it.

We lived in a cabin in CO, up at about 7500 ft. We often had ten or so at our feeder and water bowl.

Beaky (injured or deformed beak) and Igor (big crusted scab over one eye) both would take peanuts by hand.

I also miss Mountain Chickadees and Magpies out here in PA.

It was the only way to save my sanity and keep my blood pressure in check. I skip Saturday completely. And at least one day during the week.

He owns the news cycle anymore. Every pathetic utterance from him is cause celebre for the M$M. He is constantly in our faces, our ears and tormenting us from the telly screen.

How I long for the days when MY president (Barack Obama) didn't need to make a spectacle of himself or make himself the center of attention every day, craving the spotlight, desperate for the adoration at rallies of sycophants drooling over him.

You WANT to be informed, but having to wade through "news" about trumpie dominates everything. I scream at the telly, "Just give me the bloody news, mate." but all I get is more trumpie.

When the shoot-out in Philly happened last week, I desperately wanted to know what was happening (I have family there.), but they kept splicing to what trumpie was thinking (like he ever does that) about in his latest brain fart. His drivel on mental health being a "yuge" problem . . . Yet, he was the one who stopped legislation from preventing people with mental illness from obtaining firearms. So, if mental health is THE problem, then HE is squarely responsible for this.

There is no escaping him.

It's completely understandable that Xanax is now one of the most commonly prescribed meds in the country. A person can only take so much.

Ask yourself tomorrow if you missed anything.

Over a year myself and don’t miss it.

Spent the afternoon watching kids and trrnagers playing mariachi. And drinking some.

Wonderful seeing young musicians playing sonwell together. Harder than many realize.

And all the families watching their kids with oride and having fun.

Beats anything on cable. Glad you enjoyed your day.

Besides the day, I'm taking the entire rest of next week off. I need time away from the orange a**hole. There's only so much of this monster I can take any longer. He's destroying everything. It's almost systematic, and what he cannot do, he's set Jarvanka, and all of his 'apoointed' Cabinet to do his bidding.

I realize that Impeachment cannot occur overnight, but Jezuz H Christ, it cannot happen quickly enough

I prefer my news (in this chaotic, not normal time) in measured doses from Stephen Colbert. He puts things in humorous perspective.
