I would like it to be recorded that Mitt Romney's introductory act was a man mocking the idea of retaliating for 9/11 in 2002.

The only thing the Republican Party can point to as somehow justifying their existence since 1992 is that we invaded Afghanistan. That is all they have. The Bush video on Wednesday contained no reference to Iraq, or medicare or tax cuts. The entire Bush legacy was reduced to our immediate response to 9/11.

That was the only thing they were comfortable talking about.

And they somehow managed to throw even that overboard in the interest of claiming that Obama invaded Afghanistan... as a state representative in Illinois.
