Partial list of Democratic convention speakers released

An hour after Mitt Romney stepped off of his party's convention stage, crowned as the Republican presidential nominee, organizers of the Democratic convention announced several speakers who will appear onstage in Charlotte, North Carolina next week.

The partial lineup released Friday highlights Democratic women, Latinos, African-Americans, and congressional leaders.

I hope it's true. Not only will it be a nice nostalgic look back at a guy I had high hopes for back in '04, but I just really enjoy hearing him speak. If I know him at all, his speech will be a humdinger. Too bad we can't have Teddy at this year's convention too.

A lot of hype about Big Dawg being there but I would like to see Al Gore also. Maybe Gore introducing Clinton? Seeing them together on that stage would remind everyone of what might have been.
