Since New York City has a regulation against naming public entities after lving figures

And this seems like a sensible regulation and President Obama is likely to not wish that they make an exception on his behalf,

It seems like a good alternative to renaming 5th Avenue to President Barack Obama Avenue

would be to rename it as Fredrick Douglass Avenue (in which Trump would likely be confused as he thinks he is a living person and then would be astounded to find out that his new address includes the name of a famous former slave).

The nearest cross streets could be named "Harriet Tubman Street" and "Cesar Chavez Street"

I agree that Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, and Cesar Chavez would be good choices, if possible.

As for the fourth... Sojourner *Truth* would have a certain irony/word-play appeal beyond the just her worthiness of being honored amongst Douglass and Tubman. Also, to get around the technicality, they could name it after Barack Obama Sr (whilst much less laudable of a person, he is not a living person, and in the shortened form would be just as infuriating to Trump).

and sacrifice and Trumps's hatred and greed, as embodied by that horrible building of his, make it a perfect address for him to retreat to after he loses next year and waits for the handcuffs.

Who conducted important research on implementing micro banking and sacrificed greatly as a single mother and heroically battled cancer.

Obama Sr. Faced bad luck being regulated to a difficult life as a result of being on the losing political side of Kenya politics. He didn't handle it well and beside neglecting his son had a long battle with alcohol abuse and was involved in 3 near fatal accidents.

And that, after all, is the desired effect.
