Greenland's chief of govrmnt wants to buy USA back. "It was Leif the Fortunate that discovered America, and his father Erik the Red who discovered Greenland. It's only natural." The price will have to be set relatively low, due to the huge government debt. "With Trump even lower" https://t.co/EUeIWthAF3

(19,193 posts)the entire republican party. Congressional republicans were sucking at the teat of Russia long before Trump came along. Trump certainly upped the ante though. He's trying to bring legitimacy to the treason.

(36,023 posts)The rule of law that we've lived by is skirted by
transnational monopolists,
the heads of global tech industries,
shipping,
big oil & gas,
biomed,
food,
pharmaceutical and
banking cartels,
along with the 36 million millionaires and 2,153 billionaires.
The above are a global culture that no longer bothers itself with nations under rule of law. Putin and other nuclear dictators know it. So Trump wants to join that class.
The disappearance of Western Enlightenment values, replaced by capitalist market values, is what racists and sexists want, while the global class doesn't care how we turn out.
One country's government alone isn't going to change the richies' world anymore.
Local new leaders? Impeachment? All that rule of law is Fine. For as long as you can hold it.
We're taking our rule of law treason test, and so far, like Obama has said, we're "one step back."
