An open letter to "the Mooch":
Sir, you have badly misjudged your current audience, the majority of the American people. You are no longer preaching to the "Trump choir"; the spittle-flecked kluxers who obviously get most of their exercise by bobbing their heads in unison whenever Trump or one of his acolytes speaks---or breaks wind, same/same.
You are now trying---in vain---to persuade thinking people that you have "woke" and are now someone with an opinion worth considering. And, you insist, we should believe this because------you said it. But, you see, that is Trumpian logic: "facts" can be created simply by announcing them. The folks on this side of the world---the ones whose asses you're now trying to kiss---have a crude but accurate term for that: "BULLSHIT"!
WE can only say "Really? What the hell took you so long?" when you look "earnestly" into the TV cams and pronounce Trump "nuts". WE accurately determined Trump to be an incompetent amoral thug long ago. And, when you showed up, we made the same assessment of you.
Sit down. Shut up. Stay off the tube. If you're lucky, you may live long enough to go out in public without encountering boos, hisses and sneers.
