I did an image search on the dude, and I don't recommend it. Do not want to give him anymore clicks. Took a screenshot as to document this actually happened/somebody does this work. Will not search him ever again, I've seen enough. I'm compelled to critique his stuff, even though it makes me feel bad.

Thematically, it's all Christian, white nationalist gross. Combining biblical figures with classic depictions of founding fathers, clearly this 'artiste' skipped out on learning history beyond some shallow skim of chest-beating bullshit of the type that leads a grown ass man to hug the flag. Clearly, he believes Jesus loves him more than anyone else. There's one of Obama holding up the Constitution set aflame, which is as infuriating and insane as it is poorly done compared to other works of his. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say bashing Obama doesn't inspire him as much as his soft core tributes to his right wing ideals/idols.

As for the self portrait angle on this? Yeah, that's the painter's nose and brow on tRump. And erect paintbrush crotch? Yup, he likes that pose for himself... Saw a photo of him. Of course, all the surrounding gear and brush stand is spot-on, his painting setup.

And, I'm sorry, but that thumb is more than an inflated thumb. Is a high arc moment for closed-world incels.

He's using his, eh, honed skills to propagandize a worldview that means harm to people like me. So, yeah, EdHopper your addition pretty well sums what's happening in this piece.

49. Been an anti-fan of McNothin's "art" for a while

The one depicting Li'l Don-Don grabbing a cowed Mueller by the tie and jamming a magnifying glass in his face certainly hasn't aged well, but it so perfectly crystallizes the "Tough-guy-in-his-own-mind-says-NO-U!!" approach to everything that Cheeto Mussolini and lickspittle toadies like McNothin' love so well (as long as Don-Don's the one dishing it out).

Every piece McNothin' craps out is a delusional, reality-rejecting security-blanket plastered together by an insecure child furious that everyone doesn't worship his hero. "See!," each one seems to scream, "He IS brave! He IS wise! He IS fit for office! His enemies ARE of the Devil! Melania DOES love him! The sun DOES shine out of his ass! Which DOES taste like sweet honey!"

Sometimes I like to think that no human being can be this absolutely self-beclowningly dense, that McNothin' is faking it--simply exploiting the trumpkins who actually buy his garbage at preposterous prices. But then I remember that Ben Garrison exists and thus McNothin' might very well be serious.
