I saved this from last June:
From ABC's "20/20" with George Stephanopoulos, air date: June 16, 2019.
Stubby-fingered vulgarian: "If we win back the House, we're going to produce phenomenal health care. And we already have the concept of the plan, but it'll be less expensive than Obamacare by a lot. And it'll be much better health care--
Stephanopoulos: "Don't you have to tell people what the plan is?
Great orange fungus: "Yeah, well, we'll be announcing that in about two months. Maybe less.
Oh, dear. Two months from that air date was last week, 16 August. (I know; you can't believe he missed that date, amiright...?) And they already had "the concept" of the plan!!
I cut him some slack and gave him until the day after Labor Day. Because, as a famous Republican once said:
''From a marketing point of view you don't introduce new products in August.''
Mark your calendars! Then scream on the 3rd of Sept., the day after Labor Day, when nothing happens. (I hope the D candidates and the entire House scream that day.)

(13,567 posts)Much better health care and way more inexpensive than Obamacare. Bring it on. If it was all that, the democrats would vote for it.

So, a plan is needed? Is that the concept? A faint tingle that says . . . . work needs doing?
It's the old con - how do you keep an idiot in suspense? I will tell you later! (get it?)
Add this to the list of promises made, promises put in the 'too hard' pile.
Anyhow, plan not needed. Just copy what every other first world country does. Nationalised health care. UK, Singapore, Canada, Australia. Just ask for a free copy of their blueprint.
Trump can claim that as his own, I won't argue. But just DO IT!
