The Justice Department on Thursday said an email sent to immigration court employees this week should not have included a link to a white nationalist website.
The email, which included links to daily stories involving immigration news, included a link to a blog post on VDare, a white nationalist site, Buzzfeed News reported.
The blog post directly attacks sitting immigration judges with racial and ethnically tinged slurs, the immigration judges' union complained in a letter to DOJ that was obtained by Buzzfeed. Publication and dissemination of a white supremacist, anti-Semitic website throughout the EOIR is antithetical to the goals and ideals of the Department of Justice, the letter said.
NBC News has not independently obtained the letter or the email, but the Justice Department's Executive Office of Immigration Review acknowledged there had been a mistake.

Cokie's Law states that it does not matter if it is true or not. It's out there.

Then they can apologize in a much smaller forum. (If they do)

(9,971 posts)He has turned the DOJ into Trumps personal law firm, he launched a partisan investigation of the FBI to weaken its reputation, he oversaw the prison system that allowed Epstein to commit suicide, and now his department is promoting white supremacy with attacks against immigration judges! He is obviously incompetent in representing the people of the US, but hes a master in representing Trumps beliefs and the protection racket he has going.

(15,805 posts)The racism is baked into the Trump Administration. It is the unquestionable norm and commonplace that the people who correct articles from white nationalist websites don't even pause.
The leadership approves the slanted content, racism and discrimination against religions, ethnicity and nationality because that is the accepted policy. They give the thumbs up to send that view to the entire department... Day after day because that is standard.
Now that the truth is out, they can't stuff it back under the rocks and pretend it was just a grade school mistake.

Kudlow, who has known Peter Brimelow for decades, said he wasnt aware that for nearly 20 years Brimelow has run a website, Vdare.com, that promotes white-identity politics. This follows the firing of a Trump speechwriter for appearing at a conference with Brimelow.
