So what has made Trump's approval #s go down?

Just a temporary blip?

He's been crazy all along.

Did we reach some kind of tipping point? With him screwing up economy?

If he stays under 40% approval, I'd feel a lot better that we haven't fixed election security. That would certainly be wild if our nominee polls +10 or more and he miraculously "wins" a state.

are starting to get that he's insane.

Proclaiming yourself a messiah is never helpful. Sure, some probably believe he is, but others probably find that sort of stuff a tiny bit unsettling.

The economy will be his undoing. It pains me to say that because it should be a million other things first, but he has screwed up the Obama recovery badly and soon he won't be able to hide from it.

I'm sure it will go back up when the right wing propaganda and damage control finishes stepping in and ginning up some more hate to distract from his latest insane gibble-gabble.

Perhaps it's the fact that people are catching onto Trump's con jobs, which masked the fact that he was a psycho all along.

Even those idiots are bored as hell with his schtick. Looking at their cell phones, talking, staring off into space.

Recently, the majority of those who are sorry they voted for him cite "sick of your craziness" as their reason. Not inhumanity, etc. etc. ad infinitum.

Some of us who read this engage nicely with these sad sacks who've woken up. It depends on their apparent teachability. Others get soundly spanked.
