Patrick Randall aka the Freeway Blogger has been posting signs since 2003. 8000 signs to be exact. And he is not alone. He even offers a tutorial at his website: http://www.freewayblogger.com
Here are some signs he's posted. Some signs stay up for weeks, seen by 1000s. It is the first amendment in action, as used to be admired if not actively encouraged at DU back in the day. I read on a thread today where someone said this type of action was a waste of time. I don't agree. This is how we raise our voices. One voice at a time. And we let 1000 other people know we are all not alone.

(28,451 posts)try to dissuade any kind of peaceful protest. The current fascist-military-industrial-prison-complex needs to be fought on many fronts. I love seeing these signs on overpasses. The really do give me a solidarity boost when I see them.
