Have all the 'Murkan companies moved back from China yet?

I just wanted to check in to see if they'd all finished moving back. Been it of the loop most of the day yesterday.
😆 😳 🤡

Sorry we were hosting friends last night for a dinner and then the guys were watching football while the ladies were enjoying a wonderful August night on our deck.

next to the game console.

I'd offer them the shed or the attic, but, those have already been claimed by Starbucks franchises.

The problem won't be resolved in a few months, and especially not with Trump at the helm.

They must be shaking in their boots now that President Dipshit has issued his ultimatum. I'm sure they will comply as soon as arrangements can be made.

Yeah you too Karen. Pack everything up. We're moving to some shithole southern state where the school suck and you can be fired "at will". So, chop chop let's go.

I figure International Van Lines, United, Atlas, and Mayflower are booked solid with companies rushing to obey the edict of Comrade Rump. The smaller firms have probably snapped up all the "Two Guys and a Truck" firms and the roads must be clogged with U-Haul trailers. I'm sure that most large container ships have started dumping their loads of Chinese-made exports to transport people, equipment, and even buildings back to the States instead. I sure wouldn't want to be those guys.

He moved the Department of Education (Commonwealth) out of Richmond City Hall when he was Mayor. The company he hired rolled in on a Friday night after everyone left. Palletted and shrink wrapped desks as is. Family pictures? Water bottle of coffee cup? Okay. Just wrap it up and get it out. Moved to City warehouse. DOE is State and they weren't paying rent for the top 3 floors of City Hall.

September 2007. Seriously he did that.

They may be leaving China, but we gotta remember that in this stage of capitalism, money is god, so those companies are looking for even cheaper labor.

"About 41% of American companies are considering moving factories from China because of the trade war, or have already done so, but fewer than 6% are heading to the U.S., the American Chamber of Commerce in China said in a recent survey.
Companies are largely eyeing Southeast Asia and Mexico."
