For people thinking Joe Walsh is a good guy now +posting his run know him by his words

June 19, 2014, Walsh was removed from his radio show for using racial slurs. He was on air again the next day. WIND general manager Jeff Reisman commented: "During the segment Joe intended to cite several common racial slurs as examples. He did not in any way use them in a defamatory or derogatory manner, simply as examples. However, AM 560 The Answer did not allow them to go on the air. AM 560 The Answer has a policy of not using certain words on the air that are highly inflammatory and offensive even in the context of a discussion of why those words are offensive. We will continue that policy."[81][82]

On July 7, 2016, the night of the 2016 shooting of Dallas police officers, Walsh wrote on Twitter, "This is now war. Watch out Obama. Watch out Black Lives Matter punks. Real America is coming after you." These comments were interpreted by some as threats.[83][84] After deleting the tweet (by his account it was deleted by Twitter), Walsh wrote later, "I wasn't calling for violence, against Obama or anyone. Obama's words and BLM's deeds have gotten cops killed. Time for us to defend our cops."[85] The next morning, Walsh stated in an interview with the Chicago Tribune that Twitter suspended his account and deleted the tweet itself: "The pre-condition for me reopening my account was they had to delete that tweet." He said, "Of course I didn't mean 'let's go kill Obama and Black Lives Matter.' I was not trying to incite violence against Obama and Black Lives Matter. That's crazy and stupid and wrong. It would end my career and it's wrong."[86]

On October 24, 2016, Walsh wrote on Twitter, "On November 8th, I'm voting for Trump. On November 9th, if Trump loses, I'm grabbing my musket. You in?"[87] When Jake Tapper asked him what he meant, Walsh responded, "It means protesting. Participating in acts of civil disobedience. Doing what it takes to get our country back."[88] The New York Post wrote that "some took his tweet as a call for violent insurrection."[89]

On May 2, 2017, Walsh wrote on Twitter, Sorry Jimmy Kimmel: your sad story doesn't obligate me or anybody else to pay for somebody else's health care.90] in reference to a 13-minute monologue delivered by late night host Jimmy Kimmel discussing his son's congenital heart defect and his belief that covering pre-existing conditions is an important part of healthcare in the United States.[91][92]

On September 23, 2017, Walsh described Stevie Wonder as "Another ungrateful black multi millionaire" after Wonder had taken a knee at his concert in protest of what he termed police brutality.[9

No one has forgotten. Pass the popcorn and enjoy while the two Deplorables engage in mortal combat. The pain it is going to cause some Trumpsters ought to give one some reassurance.

I totally agree. This is the fight of our lives, and if he can damage trump then have at it. It doesn't mean I've forgotten who he is.

That he may cause some discomfort to The "Esteemed" Mr. Trump is however a very good thing.

Mostly I am sure that he is in it for the money and perhaps setting himself up for a 2024 bid.

and Kasich will jump in and take down Trump. I still believe the GOP's best hope in 2020 is that they eventually throw Trump under the bus and Kacich/Hailey wins their nomination. That is the scenario I fear the most.
I strongly do not believe Trump can beat Dems in 2020. Strongly. Like Bush once said, Fool me once, can't get fooled again.

The good news is that with every primary challenger trump gets it reduces him bit by bit making him easier to defeat by one of our amazing Dem candidates.

Only a hardened, incorrigible TEA Party supporter would ever vote for him. None of those people is ever likely to wise up enough to support a Dem, so no harm to our candidates, only harm to Anus Orange.

Uglicans have gotten plenty of mileage out of Useful Idiots, we shouldn't pass up the chance when we have one working in our favor.

To suggest that people are trying to rehabilitate that scumbag. You're expending more energy suggesting, even it the title of this thread, that people are saying he's now a 'good guy,' than you are combating his message. Do you really need to go down the path of making that baseless claim?

But, Trump and the GOP will have to waste cash to deal with him. That's a win for Democrats, specifically because Walsh has zero chance of actually winning.
