Weld was governor of MA so I assume he would get more of MAs delegates. This is all assuming a court doesnt void the law before it would be relevant.

I believe the laws will be overturned. Jerry Brown said the law was unconstitutional. I agree with him. We will see.

One year the Reform Party held an annual convention. The first N number of people to send them the required entry fee elected that party's nominee that year.

If the State is running the primary for Parties, which they probably are, then I would assume the State can set the rules within constitutional limits like equal treatment. In the above instance that did not apply because it was not State run.
