Mittens will view hurricane damage in Louisiana today

The Republican candidate heads to Louisiana for firsthand look at storm that bypassed Tampa but delayed the GOP convention.

Mitt Romney is traveling to New Orleans on Friday to tour the damage from Hurricane Isaac, his campaign announced Friday.

Romney's trip, which includes a visit to Lafitte, one of the flooded areas around New Orleans, comes a day after he officially accepted his party's presidential nomination.

Obama is in El Paso, Texas, on Friday for a roundtable discussion with military service members.

while this was bad enough it didn't compare to something like Katrina. And frankly, I think the other poster who said that having a president go (or even a candidate such as Romney) is causing more problems for the locals in their efforts than just staying away but making sure they get everything they need.

He will say something or it will show on his face that communicates his disdain for people who can't steer their lives correctly.
