Trumpville's are springing up in cities all across this country.

There are new homeless camps starting up all over the cities in this country. By some measures, homelessness has increased 30 percent in just the last two years. Many programs have been cut or even totally abolished.

So while the wealthy got a huge tax giveaway, the poor got nothing and many have had to resort to homelessness. And if Republicans have their way, it will just get a lot worse.

Leases aren't really that much different than mortgages, come to think of it.

unfortunately and I have volunteered with some shelters , there are thousands , so many families here too
Perhaps our extremely cold winters are part of it compared to another big city like LA where it is warmer
What has increased is non sheltered homeless here
People who are basically living n the street
25% of sheltered homeless here are employed . There is also hidden homeless like people staying at someone’s apartment who really do not have a residence and renters who are going beyond max capacity for homeless friends or family . Hard to count people that are hidden from landlords/public

And not always who you imagine is homeless

These figures are over a year old but it gives a look at where the homeless were before becoming homeless in Chicago

13. "people who are sleeping on the grates...the homeless...are homeless, you might say, by choice."

Quote by the "It's been said I favor the rich, I don't deny it" Republican greed-god, Ronnie Ray Gun.
I'd been tried, convicted and rendered homeless by those who called themselves a "Moral majority". Bush senior blathered about "A thousand points of light" when asked what he'd do about the problem.

Where from the churches in Hades do working poor deplorables get the notion that Republicans represent them when GOP creeps have never cared one iota for anyone without billions in assets except, of course, for their vote.
