If that was 'the deepest part of his soul' then it was pretty shallow:
Ann Romney on Friday said her husbands personal and at times emotional speech to the Republican National Convention showed voters the deepest part of his soul.
Appearing on several news networks the morning after the GOP candidate accepted his partys presidential nomination, Ann Romney said she couldnt be prouder of his performance.
"This is how I see him, this is the emotional part of him that I know so well," she told NBC's "Today" show.
Mitt Romneys speech had been anticipated as a chance for him to tell his "story" and get personal about his religion and history.
At one point in his speech, the Republican candidate choked up when he spoke about how his father former Michigan Gov. George Romney left a rose for his mother every morning at her bedside throughout their marriage.

Mittens, your dad also stood up to conservatives in his party and released twenty years of his taxes.

(19,458 posts)The agenda is this. "Look, my father was white. I am obviously not a Muslim. I was born in America with my American father." etc. etc. etc. This was not just the "gee, like me!" thing. It was their way to show how "other" President Obama is. Don't think for a minute it was anything BUT that.
