Actually, they still do. But thanks for confirming you always KNEW they did.
"The New @FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isnt working for us anymore!"

UPDATE: A small handful of Fox News 'personalities' are starting to push back against Trump's statement.
Example: Britt "Basset Hound" Hume tweeted in response:
"Fox News isn't supposed to work for you."
Translation:
"Yes, Fox News works for you, but you're not supposed to say that out loud, you dumbass!"

UPDATE 2: Hume's tweet seems to have set off a sh-t storm between Clint "Empty Chair" Eastwood and a bunch of Fox News lickspittles in the comment section of Humes tweet. I'm going out to buy more popcorn.

(5,954 posts)Since Julius Caesar was a reasonably competent leader. Unlike Caligula, who was a classic spoiled brat, malignant narcissist.
Trump returns from the G7 claiming to have conquered China...

(33,316 posts)Fox works for Rupert Murdoch.
When you coincide with his interests, you get a cookie.
When you fuck with his dividends, you get... a very smol cookie.

(5,954 posts)when he got pissed off with Megyn Kelly, and said he'd boycott the next Fox debate if she was there. Murdoch and Ailes thought it'd be a great time to call his bluff, and show him who's boss. Trump set up a fake charity event for veterans a few blocks away (got Cohen to set up a fake veterans charity and everything) to run during the same time slot, robbing Fox of half their viewing audience.
Personally, I think that was the tipping point. For the next three years I wouldn't say Trump controlled Fox. But they were definitely synergistically; up to and including Trump hiring away half of Fox's all-hat-no-cattle pundits.
