Lawrence knew exactly what he was doing. It is now a two day story instead of just one and maybe more.

I hope Trump it dumb enough to sue him. So does Lawrence. So does MSNBC.

where Rachel looked shocked by the Co-signing announcement by Lawrence. My gut feeling is that Lawrence is feeling the heat from the MSNBC lawyers and the likes of Andy Lack, who had previously tried to oust Lawrence.

And I cringed when he was reporting it. He kept saying over and over he only had one source and didn't have it confirmed. That was a flag that he shouldn't have been talking about it.

I know many see this is entertainment and hosts like O'Donnell aren't traditional journalists, but they still have a responsibility to get their facts straight before they go on TV reporting information, even if it means waiting a day or two or risking the possibility that someone else might get the story before they do.

CNN and FOX would both have reported this without all the caveats provided by Lawrence.

He's supposed to be an expert on politics. He jumps the gun too often. It doesn't make his reporting untrue, it just means his story is still unverified.

The press is far savvier about such things. Individuals do unsupportable things. Organizations are far less likely to leave openings for their spokespeople to be destroyed.

And Lawrence relishes it so much I can’t imagine he feels threatened.

He made clear last night it was what he heard from a trusted source.

One thing that’s happened, it buys Trump time with us running down Larry instead of pointing out Wm. Barr’s father hired Jeffrey Epstein to teach at The Dalton School.

They're trying to inoculate Trump from something. I think what probably happened is that the Russians "invested" billions in the private banking side of Deutsche, and then those private bankers lent out millions to Trump.

So the Russians didn't have to officially co-sign. They just gave Deutsche the money they wanted to invest. And told Deutsche where they wanted it to go.

well as brave. What are the trumps going to do? Are they going to sue, and provide documents in discovery proving Lawrence's point? I think he was right on substance.

One of the punk kids was talking about suing NBC. I'm sure once the kid was explained that NBC gets access to all the financial documents in discovery the Trump's quickly backed off that idea.

Trump doesn't want this in the news because it becomes something else he is being pressured to disclose. This will die very quickly.
