There has never been a time in the history of our Country that the Media was so Fraudulent, Fake, or Corrupt! When the Age of Trump is looked back on many years from now, I only hope that a big part of my legacy will be the exposing of massive dishonesty in the Fake News!

(53,410 posts)We are in the Trump era, not the Trump age.
And yes. It will be remembered as the lowest point in our Democracy.

(24,205 posts)Trump doesn't understand history and that his whole life will be investigated, forever.
That's what happens to presidents.
Their whole life is turned inside out.
Historians, journalists, and writers of all kinds will investigate every piece of paper connected to Trump during his life.
Every deal.
Every relationship.
EVERYTHING!
For the next hundred years.
it's his worst nightmare and he doesn't even know it yet.

(53,410 posts)It wont be just in books. Itll be in movies and in hundreds of documentaries because there are more than enough of his followers and his staff and members of Congress who enabled him. It will be an era of infamy.
The Trump era will stand out as much, no, much more than the McCarthy Era, only this time he and his family and supporters and administration will be the ones loving them the Communist Putin.

(3,196 posts)Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed:
And on the pedestal these words appear:
'My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!'
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

The "Age of Trump" will be called "The Historians' Full Employment Act," and will give thousands of psychology, political science and economy majors plenty of material for their Ph.D. theses.

Trump's only "legacy" will be the permanent stain his arrogance, ignorance, hypocrisy and racism have left on the nation's honor.

Nicolle Wallace was saying the West Wing is apparently mostly empty these days, compared to the normal bustle. He apparently isn't working even as little as he was before, and she was questioning if he's going in the Oval Office anymore. Whole picture suggests he's he's flying almost totally on his own these days. "The Trump Age."
