Scotland FM Nicola Sturgeon: Parliament suspension may make Scottish independence "inevitable".

The days of the UK are numbered, folks.

I think the independence referendum would pass this time around. Scotland would stay in the EU and also join the Eurozone.

If Johnson crashes the UK out of the EU, I would definitely vote yes if I were Scottish.

would have to agree to it, and the Brexiters wouldn't be inclined to cooperate. That would probably make the Scots more resolute.

They’ve despised the whole Brexit mess from the beginning, and they’re pretty sick of UK politics.

That, and “Braveheart”

Actually, the Scottish National Party (SNP) is such that an American Democrat or progressive would be supportive of it.

On the SNP’s website, their “About Us” link reveals the following information: “Scotland's largest political party and party of Government. Centre left and social democratic.”

I knew Scotland was going to get the hell out. They don't care to share the knife with England.
