They are great, and will always be.....
... I have all their music, and many the videos with them singing. One very interesting fact that few know, before the concert started, Peter came out and tested the sound equipment to make sure that all sound was ok. I might add, they gave great concerts. I mess them. Also, they always sang a number of humanitarian songs.

Peter heard us, walked up and sat down on the front row, and got our autographs and took pictures with us.

I think this is quite different from those who have never faced their transgressions. He's likewise done a lot of good in the decades since.

The furor was over an episode involving two teenage sisters, one 14 and the other 17, visiting his hotel room in 1969 to seek an autograph. Mr. Yarrow answered the door naked.

Mr. Yarrow was charged with taking indecent liberties with a minor, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three months in jail. President Jimmy Carter pardoned him in 1981.

At any rate, when I listen to that trio, I always think of the late Mary Travers... She is dearly missed.

She gave a benefit concert. Tix were about $25. I got 2 and we went. We got there early and were front row, about 2 feet from the stage.

Excellent night.

As kids, we played their records at summer camp and I still have most of their albums. My mother was an usher at one of their concerts back in the '60s, wish I'd been old enough to go back then.

And Noel Paul Stookey's wife was champlain at my boarding school until 2005, I think, but that was after my time. They performed there, as well.
