Feeling better now that it's over?
There was a panic, kind of like what happened to liberals on the night Palin was nominated 4 years ago, that set in amongst us liberals here on DU. People were getting downright despairing. Ryan's speech scared us sh*tless. Media coverage pumped the GOP up. We began to have our doubts that Obama could win.
But this morning I noticed that the gloom had lifted from us, had dissipated in the light of day, and drifted away. Now we are looking forward with heightened excitement to next week when our issues will be discussed and our superiority will be showcased.
It's morning in America and at DU!
