No, Chuck Toad, it's not "GRIDLOCK" - it's wingnut gun nut a-holes that are the problem!

Toad was hosting a reporter "from Texas" (like "from Texas" is something special) about the latest shooting, another one in Texas within weeks, Odessa, and after going through the event a bit, turned to whether this would "change minds" to get something done legislatively speaking.

This would be in Texas, where the governor, along with the entire state government, is in wingnut control and where they rabble-rouse with the stock wingnut culture of guns guns guns. Not to mention that they just "loosened" what gun restrictions there were, effective, oh, *today* September 1.

So Toad and the reporter joshed about the reporter being "from Texas." And the end of this sterling reporting was for Toad to get his answer to the question: That the a-hole wingnut governor had "called a commission" after El Paso, not mentioning that after the previous Texas shooting the a-hole wingnut governor had had a round table discussion for "solutions."

And then came the clincher: Toad said, "So (nothing will change) because of "GRIDLOCK*."

*********No, a-hole Chuck Toad, "gridlock" implies both-sider-ism. It's ONE side that's the problem.

and most of all has a *GREAT* smile. As Hamlet said, "... one may smile, and smile, and be a villain."

ABBOTT as a college student jogging had a rotted tree fall on him, leaving him a paraplegic. He filed lawsuits against the owner the the property and the tree service and won millions, fine. So, as a wingnut, one of his accomplishments was to get a legislative financial cap put on such lawsuits so that other people would not be able to get as many millions as he did.

And that smile. He and his wingnut crew in state government do all of their wingnut things, refusing Medicaid funds for kids, do their damnedest for voter suppression, host NUGENT at their rallies, do all they can to hurt those most in need and especially minorities. But that smile. Like Carnival CRUZ, he can't show his face too much in minorities areas, but when the dust settles after his latest legislative atrocities, he ventures out there and gets some photo ops with mariachis playing for him. Hispanics are good natured and needy for whatever semblance of kindness and acceptance and welcome smiles and hugs.

So ABBOTT gets check marks on the list of things that can't be criticized: Disabled, check; half-Hispanic wife, check (while he slashes things for Hispanics); rah rah for "border security," (wingnut boondoggle) check; guns guns guns. Check check check.
