Also, dare I point out that some of us cannot afford a car that costs "just under $100,000 before incentives"? I mean, I doubt I've spent a total of $100k on the 8 or so cars I've owned since purchasing my first car in 1967.

It was not. It had to do with E vehicles and in Cooper's apparent lack of knowledge as to their speed capability.

I even specifically called out the fact that HE can afford it. Sorry that you can't "afford one" but let's be clear: This forum is for everyone, not just those who have not. Unless this was posted in the Frugal forum and I missed it.


A Tesla S7 is not that much less.

The real world is all around us and it is chock FULL of people driving 80, 90, 100k + cars. My neighbor just bought a new Audi e Tron. 80-90k easy. Maybe he leased it if it makes us all feel better.
