You don't realize it, but #Sharpiegate has serious ramifications for the 2020 election:

You know it. I know it. Trump never planned to step down in peace if he were to lose in 2020.

All this talk about millions of illegal votes for the Democrats. All this talk about how he is owed a longer term because the investigations ate up so much time. His joke how nice it is for the chinese President Xi Jinping to be in power for way longer than just two terms.

He had always planned to cry foul in 2020.



But for that he needs a publicity-campaign. He needs something to get the courts, the public, the media, the Republicans on his side. Some reason, any reason, to contest the Electoral Map.

And this is precisely where Trump has sabotaged himself: The Electoral Map.

Thanks to Sharpiegate, there is now precedent of Trump faking and manipulating official maps. And any attempt by Trump to contest the Electoral Map will now first and foremost have to combat the argument that this is yet another of Trump's attempts to fake an official map.



Trump has sabotaged his own future attempt to become even more dictatorial.

I also can't see many people agreeing with the assertion that doctoring a weather map and trying to contest an electoral map are in the same ballpark.

Donald duck will quack and quack and quack before his deplorables. I kinda surprised that many Alabamians did not rush immediately to home depot and buy all the plywood for their Trumps impeading hurricane, making a Bee-Line to the Carolinas Coastline.

Deep down, no one wants an incompetent.

They really want a leader who knows "reality" as well as they do, and that sexism and racism ain't it.
