So we are all in a serious mood today down here at the diner, wondering whether Alabama is still there after the hurricane

You would think that by now some TV station could have gotten to there to see who is okay

But, no, it is like a complete news sunblock

The president has not even been able to go to Alabama to throw paper towels

Even Flo seems upset

She keeps looking at me like that time she told me I made her need her headache powders and her nerve pills both

This cannot be good

So we are all in a one of those sombrero moods today

For some odd reason, I'm is the mood for it with pan gravy and mashed potatoes!

2. You could get either the Chicken-fried Liver or the Southern-fried Chicken Livers

with Fried Onions and Home-fries

Flo sometimes has some of that crunchy green wabbit food

But it's not a health food store

4. You gotta go down the old highway until you come to the cut-off through the state park

Follow that and on the other side of the park, you take the road that leads towards where the old stone stagecoach mile marker is, but don't go that far: if you get to where the road isn't maintained anymore, you've gone a couple of miles too far and need to turn back to find it
